Yes! Every martial arts class at our academy is taught by a certified Master Instructor. Our instructors are current or former National Team members, as well as experienced National and International referees. This ensures that every student receives world-class martial arts training guided by top-level expertise and real competitive experience. Assistant Instructors are also present to help provide one on one attention for those who need it!
-
We recommend attending at least two martial arts classes per week to see consistent progress in your training. While we understand that busy schedules and life challenges can sometimes get in the way, making time for your personal growth, fitness, and self-defense skills is an investment in yourself. Regular training helps you build strength, discipline, and confidence—both on and off the mat.
-
Color belt testings are available every month; however, eligibility to test is based on individual progress and readiness. On average, students at the color belt level may test every 3 to 6 months, depending on their skill development, attendance, and instructor approval. Once a student earns their 1st Degree Black Belt, the time between black belt testings typically increases to yearly intervals.
-
Students who train consistently, show steady improvement, and maintain a strong commitment to learning can often earn their black belt in approximately three years of dedicated practice. The exact timeline may vary depending on individual progress and instructor recommendation.
-
Absolutely not—training doesn't stop when you earn your black belt; in fact, it’s just the beginning of a new journey. Achieving a black belt marks a major milestone, but it's often considered the point where serious martial arts training truly begins. Black belts continue refining techniques, learning advanced skills, deepening their understanding of martial arts philosophy, and mentoring others. Ongoing training is essential for growth, mastery, and staying sharp both physically and mentally. So, while the belt may be black, the path ahead is filled with continuous learning and development.
